Meet the Drivers Behind Wheelhouse Motorsports' Biggest Season Yet

2026 Driver Lineup

The 2026 season marks the most significant expansion in Wheelhouse Motorsports' competitive history. Backed by a new strategic partnership with Robert Noaker Racing — the team behind back-to-back Mustang Challenge championships — Wheelhouse fields the largest operation on the IMSA Mustang Challenge grid while continuing its endurance program in the World Racing League. Here's who's behind the wheel.

IMSA Mustang Challenge — Dark Horse Class

Sandy Satullo | #7 Satullo returns for his second full Mustang Challenge season as one of the most experienced drivers in the field. A consistent front-runner in 2025, Satullo brings the kind of steady, race-smart approach that keeps a team in championship conversations across a full 12-race calendar. His ability to deliver clean cars and strong finishes makes him a cornerstone of the Wheelhouse program.

Will Lucas | #34 Lucas enters the Mustang Challenge as a Ford Racing Driver Development Team member after claiming the 2025 Mustang Cup USA championship. His step up to the IMSA-sanctioned series represents the next rung on the Ford Motorsports Pyramid — and he arrives with the technical attention and raw pace that earned him that opportunity. One to watch all season.

Michael Tosi | #77 Tosi makes his Mustang Challenge debut in 2026 as a series rookie with something to prove. New to the Dark Horse R platform, Tosi joins a Wheelhouse operation equipped to accelerate his development — from car setup to race craft — across six race weekends at the country's best circuits.

IMSA Mustang Challenge — Dark Horse Legends Class

Tom Tait | #8 Tait competes in the Dark Horse Legends class — open to bronze-rated drivers 40 and over — bringing years of club racing experience to the IMSA stage. His move into the Mustang Challenge is backed by the full Wheelhouse infrastructure, and he'll be looking to establish himself as a podium contender in DHL from the opening round.

Joseph Dederichs Dederichs returns to Mustang Challenge competition under the Wheelhouse tent, competing in the Dark Horse Legends class with the operational support of the Wheelhouse/RNR crew. A familiar name in the paddock, Dederichs brings consistency and experience to the team's DHL effort.

World Racing League — GTO Class

Wheelhouse continues its endurance racing program in the World Racing League with a GTO-class Mustang GT4 across WRL's 10-event national schedule. The WRL program runs parallel to the Mustang Challenge effort, giving the team year-round competitive activity and a proving ground for operational systems under the sustained demands of 8- to 16-hour endurance formats. Driver assignments for WRL race weekends will be confirmed as the season progresses.

The Operation Behind the Drivers

Every driver on this roster is supported by a crew with over 100 years of combined motorsports experience, working out of the team's facility on the Charlotte Motor Speedway campus. The 2026 partnership with Robert Noaker Racing integrates RNR's championship-winning technical knowledge — developed through a perfect 2025 season in which the Noaker-prepared car led every lap of every race — into every Wheelhouse Dark Horse R on the grid. Bob Noaker and familiar RNR crew members continue to work alongside Wheelhouse personnel at every Mustang Challenge event.

It's the deepest roster, the strongest technical foundation, and the most competitive infrastructure Wheelhouse Motorsports has ever fielded. The work starts now.
