Race Details

Wheelhouse Motorsports made an immediate impact at the opening round of the Mustang Challenge Series at Sebring International Raceway, securing podium finishes in both races of the weekend. The event featured two demanding 45-minute races, each filled with intense competition. Michael Tosi and Tom Tait both earned podium finishes in their respective classes in each race, delivering a strong and confident start to the championship season for the Wheelhouse team.

Tosi had a particularly impressive weekend, as Sebring marked his first race in this format. After a second place finish in Race 1, he earned the pole position for Race 2. From the front of the field, Tosi defended his position relentlessly for much of the race before ultimately finishing second, proving himself to be a serious contender to watch as the season progresses.

Will Lucas also had a strong opening weekend, working his way through the field in Race 1. His determined drive helped Wheelhouse Motorsports secure a double podium in the opening race of the Mustang Challenge Series, where he finished in third place.

Tait was another standout performer at Sebring. He showed consistency and determination throughout the weekend, claiming second place in Race 1, finishing just behind the reigning 2025 Dark Horse Legends Champion. He followed that up with a third-place finish in Race 2, leaving Sebring with two well-earned trophies.

In collaboration with Robert Noaker Racing, Wheelhouse Motorsports has firmly established itself as a championship contender. After the opening round, four of the six drivers from the combined effort sit inside the top five in the championship standings, including three in the Dark Horse class and one in Dark Horse Legends.

With momentum on their side, the team is now turning its focus west to the next round of the Mustang Challenge at the legendary WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in California. The fight for the championship is far from over; it has only just begun.

Fans can follow Wheelhouse Motorsports and Robert Noaker Racing on Instagram and other major social media platforms for updates throughout the season. All races are available live and on demand via the IMSA YouTube channel.
